We rented a Leader 30 boat for a full day, (8 hrs) and chose to start at 1 PM so we would still be in the water for sunset. It... read more was the best day of our vacation. We cruised around the Elafiti islands, stopping in several places for swimming, snorkeling or stories about the area. We had a late lunch at a small restaurant in one of the harbors and finished our day at the blue cave just as the sun began to set. We swam in the cave and were the only ones there at the time. It was amazing and the sunset on the water was also beautiful as we enjoyed a glass of wine while relaxing on the front of the boat. Our guide Niko was very friendly and knowledgeable and gave us great recommendations for local restaurants near our hotel. Snacks and drinks were provided. Another nice surprise- we were offered the use of a go pro camera in an under water case to use for the day and were given the memory card at the end of the day at no extra cost. Highly recommend!

June 20, 2022 - Gfmac Picked up at 10am from the Sun Gardens Hotel harbour and immediately felt at home - We were given so many choices to try and Ivan out skipper did... read more everything to make the day a success. From visiting several beautiful islands and allowing plenty time in each to get coffees / explore as we wished - sea swimming when we wanted to cool off throughout the day - lunch at an amazing family bbq seafood restaurant and visit to several caves along the way.
On board plenty fresh towels - also a well stocked fridge with much welcomed water, beer and soft drinks.
We returned to our pick up point just around 6pm.
We set the itinerary throughout the day as we wished and our skipper was brilliant

He was quick to help us with making a lunch reservation at... read more great restaurant in Lopud which was one of our stops today. This helped us get the most out of our day and ensured we weren’t starving after all the swimming! He took us to so many beautiful locations and dropped anchor allowing us to stay as long as we wanted before suggesting a new spot. We had one teen who was happiest sunbathing and listening to music on board and one who couldn’t get enough of snorkelling and diving in. We enjoyed both and found it really relaxing with time for reading and just enyoing the scenery.
The restaurant recommendation was excellent and we enjoyed fresh grilled fish, veg and meat options too. Ivan was on hand to drop us and return us to the boat as soon as we were ready.
Towards the end of the day he took us to a series of caves that we could swim in to. He kindly jumped in and guided us in with snorkels to the blue cave which looked a little daunting. Having him with us gave us confidence and it was really enjoyable.
Lots of drinks from the cool box, shaded areas under the canopy and great sunbathing area on board.
100% recommend this trip with Blue Mile. Awesome experience with great Captain, beautiful boat and stunning locations.

Niko was an absolute pleasure, friendly and relaxed with lots of interesting stories about... read more the locality. Our four children aged 12, 11, 9 and 8 said it was the best day of the holiday and we would have to agree with them. Not everyone is so welcoming of of 4 kids but Niko was totally at ease with them. He booked us in to a very low key local restaurant on one of the islands. On his recommendation we enjoyed local Scorpion fish cooked over a wood-fired grill washed down with some delicious local white wine. Niko was in no rush to bring us back to Dubrovnik and we saw all the beautiful sights in the islands despite an unscheduled summer thunderstorm. Thank you so much Niko.
